      <description>&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#8217;d say it runs a little deeper than all you describe in your experience - at least in regards to the management level. But, that&amp;#8217;s also just my opinion based on experience.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;And I agree with KML/OGC - especially noting that&amp;#8217;ll force something that wasn&amp;#8217;t otherwise possible in the mix that&amp;#8217;s existed for decades. It&amp;#8217;ll be a relief to see a variety of &amp;#8216;things&amp;#8217; finally open-up, and mainly, because what choice is there but to compete within that paradigm?&lt;/p&gt;</description>
